Department for Transport

In the United Kingdom, the Department for Transport (DfT) is the government department responsible for the English transport network and  transport matters in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland

DfT is, together with Rijkswaterstaat (the Netherlands) one of the implementing bodies of NETLIPSE.

On behalf of DfT, the following persons are responsible for NETLIPSE:

Stuart Baker - Deputy Director National Projects

Tony Francis - Project Sponsor

Both Stuart and Tony are members of the NETLIPSE Board of Governance and play an active role in the development of the IPAT.
