Ministry of Transport - Government of the Republic of Slovenia

The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Slovenia performs tasks in the field of railway transport, air transport, maritime and inland waterway transport and road transport (with the exception of road transport safety control), as well as tasks in the field of transport infrastructure and cableway installations

The mission of the Ministry of Transport is to provide conditions for high-speed, reliable and economically efficient transport of passengers and goods from the source to the destination of traffic flows while maintaining the utmost degree of safety. In order to realize its mission, the Ministry of Transport has to provide co-ordinated, reliable and cost-effective functioning of the overall transport system.
