Network Meeting Bari

On Novermber 21st and 22nd, the eleventh NETLIPSE Network
Meeting took place, this time generously hosted by Interporto
Regionale della Puglia, in Bari, Italy. More than 35 delegates from
12 countries took part in discussions and presentations on
Sustainable Development, Transport & Mobility Strategies, the
Role of Total Cost Management in Controlling Major Infrastructural
Projects, Clustering Smart Logistics Infrastructure in Regions,
Reducing the Cost of Infrastructure, EU programme Networks and
Mobility, Italy in the context of TEN-T, Tapping Private Sector
Financing, Port Project Funding using PPP schemes and NETLIPSE
Network Expansion to Brazil. In addition, a discussion on the
future of NETLIPSE, its activities and organisation took place.
The wonderful port area of Bari is under renovation at the
moment and different scenario's for the expansion of the port area
were discussed at a round table meeting at the Bari Politechnic.

issues presented.
